About this tour

1^st Day

You will visit the Neogombo fish market and the lagoon to experience the local fish market and see different types of fish and how the dry fish is made. Also a view of the Negombo lagoon and the local life and culture.

Visit to the Saint Maris church which is a colorful Local catholic church.

More time will be allowed on the day for resting at the hotel after a long flight.

2^nd Day

We will leave to Habarana and on the way will visit the Pinnawala Elephant orphanage. There are close to 90 elephants at the orphanage and we will get a chance to see them bathe and how they behave at the orphanage.

Next we will vsisit the Dambulla Golden Cave temple which is a UNESCO world heritage site. The cave comprises of more the 20000 square feet of colorful ceiling paintings and many Buddha statues and some othe statues.

In the evening we will go on a safari at the Minneriya Nationa park, which is the place where the largest gathering of Asian elephants in the world happens. In addition to elephants you will withness other animals such as Wild boas, wild buffaloes, the deer, Jackals and with luck a bear or a leopard and many othe types of animals and birds,

3^rd Day

In the morning we will climb the lions rock which is also a UNESCO world heritage site and a 5^th   of architecture, garden design, engineering, hydraulic management and paintings.

We will go on a village tour with a bullock cart and a catamaran ride and participate in a cooking demonstration and experience a local lunch.

Then we will be on the way to Kandy and on the way we will visit an Ayurveda spice garden for a guided tour.

In the evening we will visit the Kandy Lake and the temple of the tooth which is the most sacred place of worship for the Sri Lankan Buddhists.

4^th day

In the morning we will do a tour of the peradeniya botanical gardens which is home to more than 4000 tropical plants and then we will visit a gem museum to get to know about the gems of Sri Lanka.

We will also visit a tea plantation and get a taste of the various types of famous Ceylon tea,

On the way we will hike to the beautiful Ramboda falls.

In the evening we will do a city tour of nuwara eliya and do a city tour of the nuwara eliya city,

5^th Day

In the morning we will visit the Horton plains national park which is a UNESCO natural heritage site and hike to the world end and the Bakers falls.

We will go on on a 2 hour train ride from Pattipola to Ella described as one of the most beautiful train rides in the world.

In the evening we will relax at the hotel and ella is a party town in the night.

6^th Day

In the morning we will climb the ella rock

At  Ella we will visit the Ravana falls and the nine arch bridge.

On the way to Yala we will visit the Bambarakanda falls which is the tallest waterfall in Sri Lanka and the diyaluma falls.

We will visit the Buduruwagala Buddhist site.

Overnight stay at Yala

7^th day

In the morning we will go on a jeep safari to see the wonderful wildlife at yala national park

We will spend the rest of the day relaxing at the hotel.

8^th Day

We will head towards galle and experience the wonderful beaches of tangalle, mirissa and unawatuna on the way.

Visit coconut tree hill and parrot rock at mirissa

Hike to the roomassala Jungle beach.

We will do a guided tour of galle fort and have lunch at the galle fort.

Overnight stay at beachfront hotel in Galle and relax at the beach.

9^th Day

Whale watching tour at mirissa,

We will also experience a mangrove oat ride at the madu river and visist a turtle conservatory before heading to the hotel at Benthota,

10^th Day

In the morning we will get in to the train to Colombo to get an experience of a local train ride.

We will do a citiy tour and shopping in Colombo before heading o the airport.

In the city tour we will visit the Galle face green, Colombo port city, the red mosque, the town hall a Hindu temple and see other important monuments of Colombo. We wil do a guided tour of the Colombo national museum.
